Jefferson Health recently opened a $15 million specialty care center, Jefferson Specialty Care at Fish Pond Road, near its Washington Township Hospital, acquired in 2017 through its merger with Kennedy Health System. The new 15,000-square-foot facility offers specialized services in urology, rheumatology, ENT, and gastroenterology.

This expansion comes amid a period of significant healthcare investment in Gloucester County, as Inspira Health Network also ramps up its facilities. In April, Inspira opened a $50 million outpatient center in Deptford, repurposing a former Dick’s Sporting Goods store, and began a $220 million expansion of Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill in Harrison Township just last month.
