Mount Holly, NJ — A significant expansion plan for Virtua Mount Holly Hospital is set to go before the Mount Holly Planning Board on Monday, September 15.
The proposal outlines construction of a four-story, 137,000-square-foot patient tower that would feature 64 private beds and 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms. The expansion, extending along northbound Madison Avenue, is designed to make way for all private patient rooms throughout the hospital.
According to the application filed by Virtua-Memorial Hospital Burlington County Inc., the project will not only create new private accommodations but also allow for the conversion of existing facilities into private rooms.
